No more for you Terry!
Continuing on with the break it down series. The others can be found at the following location.
I skipped this part of the series last year, cause I could only talk about Tambellini so much, and really the only change had been Renney for Krueger.
But now! Tambellini was fired which could only be described as “about fucking time!”, and while I don’t think Krueger necessarily deserved to be fired his lack of line matching probably doesn’t fit with the approach the new GM wishes to take.

At least he can't fuck this up
And after procrastinating as long as possible here is the final post with this years Break it Down series. The rest can be found here.
Last year I commented on how I didn’t like the hiring of Quinn and would have preferred to see Renney hired, so I guess a year later it worked out for me. I just can’t stand to see a guy roll the lines at this level. They just get eaten alive.
Also, how shitty was it that Tippett got fired a couple weeks after we found our guys. That would be a killer coach.
As for Tambellini, I am kind of happy with the past year. But there are still issues that need to be figured out.

The more things change, the more they stay the same..
I don’t normally create posts these days based solely on posts on other blogs, however David Staples has been doing some good write ups lately that I have an easy time agreeing with.
If the Oilers don’t make the playoffs, Kevin Lowe and Steve Tambellini will have to resign.
The Oilers need to blow up this team and trade for expiring contracts and draft picks.
If Jim Rutherford can do it in Carolina, why not Kevin Lowe in Edmonton?
They echo a lot of sentiments heard around here. They’re unforgiving and honest articles. Often, I find that journalists are a bit too afraid to tell it like it is, but Staples pulls no punches in his criticisms towards management.
