Pitton up, Doobie down… again.

As per the Oilers Official Twitter, the Oilers have recalled G Bryan Pitton from Stockton (ECHL) and assigned Devan Dubnyk to Springfield (AHL). Again, this is likely for 1 of 2 reasons: 1) to allow Dubnyk to stretch his legs or 2) for some mercy in Springfield, as they still have yet to win a game (winless in 17) since Dubnyk was recalled. You think we have it bad here?

Just thought I’d update everyone that the baby Oilers won their first game of the season 5-2 over the Portland Pirates.

The Falcons are currently playing Providence (2:00MST start).
