Oilers 2, Lightning 3 (SO) – Game 74 – 2012-03-22 @ 5:30 PM MST – SNET OILERS

PRE-GAME RANT
Tonight will be nearly the same line-up, as the Oilers face the Tampa Bay Lightning. The only difference will be in net, as Nikolai Khabibulin takes over duties. Devan Dubnyk has been pretty solid as of late, but the Oilers have a back-to-back game, as they play Florida tomorrow. So most assuredly, Dubnyk will start in tomorrow’s game.
Taylor Hall didn’t skate in today’s practice. “Bottom line it’s a concussion. He isn’t available to play tonight. I’m not sure if he’ll skate tomorrow but it’s day to day,” Renney stated on Hall.
Linus Omark will draw back in tonight, as Lennart Petrell is suffering from a groin injury and didn’t skate today.
Enjoy the game, folks!
OILERS LINES (projected)
Jones – Nugent-Hopkins – Eberle
Hartikainen – Gagner – Hemsky
Smyth – Horcoff – Omark
Eager – Belanger – Hordichuk

Interesting tweet from Millhouse a few moments ago: Linus Omark does not want to play for OKC in the AHL playoffs. “I play better if I’m happy and I’ll be more happy at the World’s.”
IMO his time with the Oil is on borrowed time but he is an RFA so we should be able to get something marginal for him unless he goes back overseas.
Fuck yeah, Smid scored!
Didn’t he say that last year?? I mean, he might have just said that too, but I swear he said that same thing last year too and then took it back or something.
