We fans want to jump on them all the time, but it’s a pretty thankless job with what I think is a tough job to keep a low margin of error.

I think the NHL should eventually consider allowing referees to review calls, or to have everything reviewable. It will take some of the onus off the referees. Get it mostly right, and we’ll have your back if you goofed up.

Not sure what’s going on with the officials – waiving off some goals due to alleged goalie interference and not others. Seems to depend on which side their hair is parted in any particular period. Glad it seemed to go our way today. (edit: the NSH goal that was waived off – I think Hornquist grabbed Dubey’s stick, so I’m definitely good with that one. There have been a lot of borderline calls lately that seem to go either way.)
