Seriously though, you are quite likely right. They need to make some decisions on D, and well, looks like him and Barker are gone. Too bad, cause last year was such a good season for him. That would have been the ideal time to move him.

I still think there is a solid D in the making here.. just not so sure we can patiently wait for him.

With Andy signed next year I think Teddy will be an add on in a trade for help on D or in goal. Teams love having gritty, hard noised bottom pairing guys like Theo so he still does hold some value, especially with him being an RFA who could be signed for close to minimum.

On second thought I would be more inclined to keep him for depth, hoping for some sort of bounce back year. If we were willing to give Barker a shot at redemption then why not give Pecks the same luxury on the cheap???

Hate to say it but I think we have seen the last of Teddy Peckham in an oil jersey (barring injurys) Theo is a prime candidate to be traded this summer as I think other teams still see the potential is still there for him to have a bounce back season next year and be a good bottom pairing, physical player.
