PRE-GAME RANT

Well.. holy crap…. we won a game! I think the Oilers seem to do their best against the difficult opponents, and slack off against the bottom feeders. If only that were the case against teams like Vancouver too.

Lines have been updated.. Ryan Whitney is back, and Ben Eager also draws back in.

Edit: And Eager is now out with an upper body injury.. Either Lennart Petrell or Darcy Harodichuk will draw in.

OILERS LINES

Hall-Horcoff-Hemsky
Hartikainen-Gagner-Eberle
Smyth-Belanger-Paajarvi
Hordichuk-Lander-Jones

Smid – Petry
Whitney – Potter
Peckham – Sutton

  1. Racki says:

Dooo-bnick starts tonight again, and Whitney is back.

  2. dawgtoy says:

As per Strauffer, Eager is out with an upper body injury.

  3. Racki says:

Well, perhaps an opportunity for Hordi to live up on his promise. I actually want to see it happen. No more being a team of pussyfoots. Let’s see Sutton murder someone at the blueline and Hordi take a run at someone… cause we’re going to get killed on the scoreboard anyways, so might as well make it entertaining :P

  4. Alan-NottsUK says:

I hope it isn’t Eager’s back again, it seemed to be a problem for him earlier in the season, and if it became a recurring injury that would suck.

when he took the time off to rest however he came back strong.

  5. Racki says:

It is indeed his back, yes.. per Bob Stauffer.

  6. Alan-NottsUK says:

I really hope we keep Sutton, just so he can dangle the Canucks D again next year like he did in the 3rd, sadly I don’t think Ebs was expecting it to happen, he just wasn’t ready for the backhand pass that came after it.
