We all know how that goes, but with Iginla it would be even more venomous.

He would get a good return, but like Racki said, who can afford him and would they be willing to give up much say compared to last year? It’s a shit sandwich and everyone in Calgary will have to take a bite.

But humoring the idea… I think any playoff team or near playoff team has to have interest. He’s got this year and next left on the deal and he’s a huge cap hit, but he’s still a phenomenal player. He’d be worth it for most team’s looking for some extra push. I could even imagine him in Pittsburgh. I’d guess that him and Crosby would be quite deadly. Not that Crosby isn’t deadly enough. Since he’s never be traded to the Oilers (unless Feaster is nuts), I’d say I’d like to see him gone from this conference.
