Ktown: LOL – Seguin over Hall? Not yet. Seguin looked good in a playoff game this year. Hall carried a team on his back for at least half a season. Also, just noticed in the TSN draft rankings, they put up the player’s vitals. Huberdeau is the same height, and virtually the same weight as RNH.(http://www.tsn.ca/draftcentre/feature/?id=44969) Both 6’1″, RNH – 170lbs, Huberdeau – 168lbs So where’s all the talk about Huberdeau being too small? Or did I miss something (a very likely case, I’ll admit)? “Huberdeau: NHL Upside – First or second-line forward with decent size and two-way abilities.” “Hopkins:Weaknesses – Needs to add some muscle to compete with NHL defencemen in tight quarters.” ???

It might be build though, Huderdeau has the build to put on more weight/size and just hasn't yet where as the Nuge doesn't. No idea, but that could be the reason.

I think Pierre was comparing Huberdeau to Skinner yesterday. Said he could be the steal of the draft. He could be right.

What’s even more entertaining Ktown is I’ve read on a mockdraft that Huberdeau has good size. I think it could have been Mackenzie’s even… So many mocks list him as a center too but from what I’ve heard he played mostly wing.

I think time will tell on a guy like Seguin though. I think he could be a really good player one day. I still think we made the best choice, even with Skinner in the draft. It’s no secret that guys Skinner’s size stand more of a chance in the East, and it’s a little easier to rack up points in that SE div too. Not taking anything away from Skinner though.. I think he’s a great player, and I’m not saying Hall is better than him. I just think we got a great player to build around with Hall too. Tonnes of compete.. can score in bunches. He put up those points on an uber crappy team with Horcoff as one of his linemates (sorry Horc) and a rookie.

Anyways, I think there are a few teams happy with the outcome of that draft. Boston will be… Carolina already is.. Anaheim too. Edmontonians seem pretty happy.
