PRE-GAME RANT

Here we are, the final game of the season> And what way to end it than with a meaningless game between two bottom feeders? In all seriousness, I am still very much enjoying Oiler hockey. While the end result is a big stinker, I think the season has been a great success in seeing what the future holds. And while there won’t be a post-season for our Edmonton Oilers, there will be one for the Oklahoma City Barons… so I suggest you follow and cheer them on. If you want to follow someone on Twitter who updates the Barons games a lot, I’d suggest following @ryaber (Ryan Aber).

Don’t forget, Tuesday night we find out who the “winner” of the first overall pick is. That’s the only excitement we have in the near future, aside from the AHL playoffs.

Prediction: 4-1 Oilers

   Damn it, I forgot about that pick for a moment… I guess I have to cheer for the Hawks now I was kind of looking forward to them being bumped out of the playoffs (potentially) for some reason.

   Er… go Hawks.

   Also, for the pool, I recognize all the names there… none of them are “randoms”… just not everyone used their screen name from here.
