I do feel bad for Petry though, I would have liked to see him sheltered by Whitney. Poor Chorney got lit up playing with Struds last season and it seems to have derailed his NHL career.

I pulled the lineup from Dan Tencer’s page, and that’s how he had it ordered… but I would be shocked if Strudwick and Petry get the most ice time. It’ll for sure be Gilbert carrying the most of the defensive responsibilities

Edit: I’ve changed the D order to how I think it makes a bit more sense.

If Strudwick / Petry is our top pairing as you predict, that’s going to be something to see. Smid/Foster is a very bad combo too this year.

Well, it’s another wait for the draft season, but at least we get to watch HOPE players develop.
