Look half way down. The league has hired a third party arbitrator to investigate the contracts mentioned in the Kovalchuk ruling. Could get ugly.

Ah yes, Monty Python… okay self, stop laughing and calm down the flash-backs.

I would like to see how these teams would restructure should they be forced to renegotiate those contracts. Kinda makes me smile:) Not that it’ll happen though. In any event this is a smart political move by Gary Betman. I don’t blame GM’s for trying to pull it off, but anyone can see that the odds of these contracts running their course are slim. Not my thought, but what happens when the league minimum $$$ is above the amount that the final years are contracted?
