You’re thinking Brandon Prust. Bic Mac beat his face in pretty good though. But no, Big Mac drove Boyd pretty hard into the boards on a race for a puck on a dump in. Lots of credit to Prust for standing up and defending his teammate, but he took some SOLID body shots. I’m not sure if he actually broke some of his ribs, or if that was just one of those “legends”.

Ah yes, I recall Prust did not return to the game, and thereafter I think he missed some time due to a rib injury.

I really hope we start hearing that our RFA’s start signing contracts soon.

I also really hope that they get Gagner to sign a 3-4 year deal, I have a feeling if they only give him a one year he’ll be getting a fat raise next year.
