Yah ha, sorry, I should have mentioned his first name. But yes, Adam Larsson is the guy. If we draft him, I would be very excited about the prospect of making several “Grand Larsson(y)!” headlines each year. Too bad he isn’t a goaltender.

Anyways, interesting how Guy Flaming’s contact mentions that Larsson is going to be better than Hedman (Mr. “The Next Lidstrom”). Wow… to have that pick, hey? Lucky Boston (TML pick)… oops… the year hasn’t started yet.

@ chucker: Do you ever get the feeling we are being pressured into taking Hall? The consensus is that we should and Boston wants him so badly that if we don't take him we are going to look foolish. I really hope that Tambi gets some deal done with the B's to let them have Hall. I just have the sense that they want Hall real bad despite playing it cool in the media. Of course we could always take Hall and make a deal during the draft for a switch and a trade. Could we not?

Just got in. Good conversation @ Metal and Oil and Vic. It makes sense to me, and quite frankly, I’m more comfortable with either guy at this point and was a Hall at all cost guy before. I think both sides of the equation are great and Seguin’s, with a trade down, may be the full house on the river we need.

McIlrath is rated pretty high now. I wonder if he’s available at 15. I guess if not I’d focus on Tinordi personally.

If we can trade down or make a deal to still pick at no. 1, get Boston’s 15th and take Seguin and get a decent player back like Coelburne or Krejci (Krejci seems to be in lots of rumours), then it really makes me think we should do it. Especially keeping in mind that we will be likely getting another great guy next draft and for Souray as well.
