PRE-GAME RANT
Well, so far we’ve got the Habs number this season, although we’ve only played them once… It was way back on October 10th, when the Oil were healthy and the fans were excited. A 3-2 win for the home team. My oh my how the times have changed. We’re heading into Montreal to play against a team that appears to be coming together at the right time for a playoff push. Winners of 4 of their last 5, they’re probably looking forward to this match up more than we are. This is Montreal’s last game against a Western opponent, so their playoff chances look good. In the pipes Deslauriers has looked a lot more comfortable lately, but some of my dodgy sources are reporting Dubnyk will get the start tonight. For the Oil, Minard has been called up and will likely see some action as Moreau is questionable, and O’Sullivan is hanging out at home.

Montreal Canadiens 5
indeed trogdog, thanks for reminding me of my Ana!
I have to contribute once in a while. GO ANAHEIM!
Not much news on Whitney. Hopefully it’s just a bruise.
All I’ve heard: dantencer
Oilers say right leg injury for Whitney and he will not return tonight.
Poor Dubnyk. Still no wins.
Dubnyk = McElhinney.
I am a huge critic of the guy but wow did Tom Gilbert look great out there yesterday. Contributing on the scoresheet twice, leading the team in ice time again and even uncharacteristically taking the body. I’m still not 100% sold on the guy but I now think that there is a fairly good chance that Tom we be able to prove me wrong.
