I think it’s easy as fans sometimes to read media reports and say things like “I hate Brian Burke” but when something like this happens it reminds us that they’re just people too.

Price has the higher expectations (not sure about potential though) though. I think he’s getting crushed by fan expectation actually. He’d fare no better here either, under Edmonton fan scrutiny.

I could look dumb saying this in a few years, but I’d still take Halak over price if we could.

doubtful there is any merit to this, but for arguments sake I’m interested in knowing some of your thoughts on this.

He’s a pretty physical d-man too. It’s good to see Plante, but I wouldn’t mind shipping someone back down, perhaps Chorney.

Btw, until his first game here, I didn’t realize that Plante was a RHD.. that’s good news.

Boynton is also a RHD, which is another bonus to picking him up, but that would likely then mean sending Plante down.
