Yah I’m hoping that it’s POS and Nilsson that are the ones moved. I like both of those guys though, don’t get me wrong. Just they seem to be the most inconsistent of the guys mentioned.

Well apparently Tambo is getting lots of calls as per Kevin Weekes. My guess is he’s getting lots of inquiries on players like Gagner, Cogliano, JDD, Comrie, Lubo and only a very select few on players we actually want to be trading (Moreau, Nilsson, Staois etc). It sucks that we may have to get rid of some of our ‘core’ players for our future but I guarantee you that Gagner, Brule, POS, Cogs, Comrie and Nilsson all won’t be here next year. So expect one of them to be leaving this summer, if not in the next few weeks.

I am sad to report the exact same notion, mrgod2u (or me). The combined lack of effort, concentration and smarts…makes for one detrimentally poor performance.

I’ve always been told that you have to earn benefits. After games like that, we don’t deserve a top pick.

As much as I am excited about the future and getting a good draft pick I am truly saddened that the tonight I watched the team I love play one of the absolute worst games of hockey I’ve ever seen. JDD was stellar, and but for his play and some luck on our part we realistically should have lost that game 6-0 or worse. I lost count on turnovers at 14, Grebs had at least 4 that I recall. On an interesting side note did anyone else notice that the officials kept getting nailed, There were at least 4 times that an official went down in the game. Not something you see often. Yup I was so frustrated by the Oil I was watching the officials. What an embarrassing game. Truly sad.

hey all, watched the game on the pvr late and i have to say jdd makes some amazing saves (keeping the oil in the game) but much like conkannen lets in 1 or 2 bad goals a game…hopefully that gets eliminated via experience.

on another note i just found out about burke’s son, and i have to say that while i don’t like the man, no person should ever see their kid pass before them. condolences to the burke family.
