A few Oilers updates from the Sun
Some highlights from the Edmonton Sun Article by Robert Tychkowski
The Oilers are back practicing again.
Gagner is still having problems with his knee. Two MRIs have been done on his knee and both have come back negative (i.e. nothing majorly wrong). It isn’t healing as quick as he’d like.
Souray had surgery on his hand and will be re-evaluated by the team soon.
Jacques is still having back problems despite receiving some cortisone shots.
Re-Khabibulin is scheduled to appear in court on Friday. The penalty for DUI in AZ is death by execution, from what I hear…

To be honest, I totally forgot the Oilers existed for the last week or so…
Not to be wise, but isn’t every death penalty by ‘execution’ – unless it’s ‘natural causes’?
And everything is silent, as we wait for Souray to heal…to be traded?
oops, that was meant to be “electrocution”
Smartass!
Does that get us out of his contract? Just askin’.
I’m afraid to answer that for fear of some sort of Albertan-redneck attack on Khabi

I wonder if this would void his contract? I sure hope so.
This just keeps getting better and better…
