Hey, I’m all for moving Horcoff.. just we are sending the Rangers a lot of salary in that suggestion and not taking much back. If we move Horcoff, I’d have to think that we’d take on a fair bit of salary ourselves.

Okay, I admit, my earlier trade proposal was nothing more than blowing off steam. Even so, I’ve seen other things that were unlikely come to pass.

Both Jason Blake and J.S. Giguere were “untradable”. The one way to get rid of Horcoff is to bring in another overpaid player. It comes down to the needs of the team. A multi player deal so that enough cash changes hands, the other team gets a forward and one of our “puck moving” d-men, we get a defensive defensman and a bigger forward. I just think that Comrie plays bigger than Horcoff, and that we don’t need Horcoff. Problem is I don’t think Tambi doesn’t have the balls to do it though.

Racki: Yah, agreed DropIt. Unless Tambi/Katz grow a huge pair and send him to the minors or buy him out, he’s an Oiler until at least 2003/14 season, or he retires.

or Tambellini can get Sather to bend Gainey over for him like he did the Gomez trade.

Ya Neufab, no way the Rags take on Horcoffs salary, and for Girardi even less likely.

Personally, I think the only way EDM deals Horcoff is in a package with this years 1st round, and losing that pick is not worth getting rid of Horcoffs contract.
