I presume he meant that in favor towards Iggy. Saying that if you (being the other poster) are going to knock Iggy for it, why not knock Smid for it?

Personally, I’ve seen Iggy take the bucket off. And again, in an unstaged fight, there’s no time to do it. So as far as I’m concerned it was a great, fair fight.. and I don;t really care much about Iggy’s old fighting history, dirt ball or not. As I said in my other post, we Oil fans would love Iggy here.

Otherwise, I’m glad we played the Oilers, because Calgary likely loses to most other teams.
But a W is a W, and we will take it.

Side note, Iggy is a dirt ball when it comes to fighting??
That fight was spur of the moment, any planned staged fight Iggy is involved in his helmet and elbow pads ALWAYS come off. Otherwise, a good fight between Iggy and Smid.

Can’t wait for the New Years Eve BOA. Seeing as how we have won the series, I’m hoping for the sweep;)
