On a side note, I should have planned this night better. I always forget Sportsnet games now have a repeat usually at 11pm. Instead of focusing so much on the game I should have been focusing a lot more on my girlfriend. :( It was a frustrating game to watch, so many great chances but at the end of it all the scoreboard tells the story. Oil are underrated and can be a dominate team...Honestly watch the last 6 games and they have played good. This loss doesn't bother me because the effort was there and honestly we should have and could have won. LNOF: Kings are good this year which throws me off too lol. Good to see us compete well against the 2nd best team in the league. We have Nashville and Washington in the next 2 games. HUGE GAMES. Agreed, but I would say that in this game, the Oil did start well.. just not on the scoreboard. They dominated most of that first period, imho. But of course the score didn’t show that.

So close to tying it too. Well this was the first test in a while against a top team (seems weird typing that about LAK) and it was close and could have gone either way. Can't win them all! Gonna need a win against the Preds though! Still only 5 points out guys! Honestly only 5 points out, this team is playing pretty good. One bad mistake lead to this loss. We were the better team in the 3rd and a good chunk of the 2nd. Go Oil! Night folks! These guys have heart and fight. Gagner and Penner are for real! (Oil should have won though...Penner had so many chances in this one. Should have tied it at the last second 2!) Still shows we have fight and again proves that we want to win games.
