Not sure on that hit DropIt – when it first happened I couldn’t tell if he led with the elbow, then from the TV replay it did look like the elbow got him first. Then someone on the main page of HF Boards has a pic where it looks like the shoulder made impact first. I’d really like to see it frame by frame.

However, opinions will question it whether they have Oiler coloured glasses or not because it was his head that was impacted. I agree he had his head down, a clean hit to me in that case is shoulder on shoulder, not shoulder on head.

Nice win for the Oilers tonight. I’m just glad they kept it out of OT. JDD wasn’t spectacular by any means, but he got the job done. Good game from Reddox and Smid noteably.
Also props to Wilson for catching Moreau with his head down with a clean shoulder, despite the opinions of some Oiler fans I have heard from.

Yah Smid + Visnovsky is such a great pairing (Visnovsky makes anyone look good, but those two are perfect together). Also, I love the Reddox O’Sullivan Brule line. It was like a small upgrade, bumping Potulny out, but it worked well… and good to see O’Sully get another one.

Reddox had a great game, had 15 mins of ice time tonight. Well deserved. I can see Quinn growing to like his game.
