Racki: Yah McGuire can be a bit of a bonehead. I don’t mind the guy as much as Steve, but his constant repeating of the same thing over and over can drive me nuts. Once he points out something, he has to point it out again in a slightly rephrased way, and then again, and again. “Oh that’s a penalty…. the Canadiens just gotcaught with too many men…. they had six guys on the ice…. that’s a poor play by the Canadiens, getting caught with too many men, Gord. As a player you have to make sure that when you step on the ice, someone is coming off… ”

lol, that’s so true.

I actually used to like him, and he actually does have some pretty good insights on things, and I certainly like his passion for the game at times, but yeah, his obvious desire to bite a pillow with fanoof and the rest of the Calgary roster is really bothersome to me, and I think his TV success has gone to his head, and as they like to say in the south “it seems like he may be gettin’ too big for his britches” and full of himself.

I’ve always thought he was a very bright guy with integrity, this supports that. McGuire was being a total idiot. At least Ray Ferraro knew how to offer it up with some political correctness for the fresh wounds that MacT is sporting.
