New site mascot?
Well, if you’ve waited long enough to see this, you may have noticed some performance issues here at puttingonthefoil. Racki’s looking into it and potentially changing servers tonight. This may cause some small issues, but they’ll be ironed out. We’ll keep you posted.

I’m still going to switch servers, but it may not be tonight. Part of the reason I haven’t just jumped ship yet is because it takes time (apparently 24 hours) for a domain to switch. What that means is, when you type http://www.puttingonthefoil.com, it will go to the old site (i.e. here) for a while. In fact, depending on what provider you are on, you may be going to this old site while other people are on the new site. So with that in mind, I may just switch hosts, and give a link here to the new location’s top secret address until the switch is complete.
The other thing is there doesn’t seem to be a way to export users (at least easily) in WordPress. So that means that people will have to register again. But I think that’s a small price to pay if the site becomes quick again.
