I didn’t get to see the training camp today, was just relaying what Jason Gregor had to say. That’s good that Lerg answered back though. At any rate, the comment about the hit wasn’t in anyway directed as a negative comment towards Lerg, but more as a positive towards McDonald for making a good hit. It just so happened to be on Lerg.

Chucker: Good point about Stone. I didn’t really consider him or Minard or some other AHL players with a bit of size as having a chance, but under a new coach you just never know. And I agree with your sentiment on MacT… glad that there is a new vision in here. Whether you liked him or not, it’s still good to know that everyone will have an opportunity to prove themselves.. and everyone is GOING to need to prove themselves to stick around here. I made a comment on Lowetide too that I’m a bit worried that our line up could change too radically. Guys we thought were shoe-ins might be sent packing. Everyone is going to have to earn their place.

Scarriere: It’s odd to me, but I’m also pretty optimistic about this season, despite the lack of changes. I guess I’m buying into Quinn making a big difference. Although I was always on that bandwagon, back when MacT was still fumbling around here.. lol

I feel like I’ve just emerged from a dark dungeon of horrors and the first thing I see after my suffering is the brilliant sun. (maybe some hot babes too )

What a difference. I have always been a team guy and got excited for the season, but this is completely different. You can see it in the players as well. It’s like the dark cloud of idiocricy has finally been lifted off of River City.

On the topic of Schremp, “world class talent” that couldn’t crack a lineup like we’ve had for four years. Fuck you MacTard. We could have laid this issue to rest a long time ago. He’s going to be in tough though. I’m betting Quinn likes JFJ and Stone by his comments about some of the big boys out there. I do feel this is the only legit shot he will have been given to make this team as well. I like him as the last forward and subbed in for PP specialist time. We know he can help put the bisket in the basket and we have a need for that. I’d rather see him get a shot than another Pouliot.
