JDD: In. DD doesn’t seem up to the task and Mucha will be in the A and looks better than DD already.

JFJ: In/Out i.e. First call up guy or optional fourth liner. He’s big and hits and that will go a long way with Quinn.

Stone: Same as JFJ.

Pouliot: In. Nobody’s showing anything that would put him out of his spot. Too bad, I was hoping lots of guys would finally show up for camp. I guess not.

Reddox: I see him in Springfield. Same game as JFJ and Stone but smaller. Could be a first call up guy as well.

Brennan: In. Vet who knows how to play, aggitate and knows his role. Quinn likes these guys.

Storts: In. Nobody seems to be able to replace his grit and willingness to drop the gloves. Possible competition is Brennan.

MacIntyre: In to start. I could see him starting as we need the nuke with the arms race in our division, but if somebody else can step up who can play as well, he’s gone.

Peckham: Out to start the year and recover his injury. I was not a fan of the Struds signing except that he’s a good locker room guy who is low maintenance. I see Peckham coming up permanently by December and Staios (prayers) will be gone.

Smid: In. He’s a prototype Quinn D man. Big, tough, nasty and clears the zone in a simple fashion.

Chorney: Out. He’s on the team next year or if there is a trade of one of the big dollar D men who are more offense first.

Moreau: Hopefully tradebait if JFJ/Stone/Brennan show they can supply the same thing but cheaper.

Bottom line is there are way too many bodies up front and a few extra on the back end as well. I have to think that there will be a trade for a centreman who can score or a winger for the top line. I guess who is in the market to move a top end guy? Maybe Florida or Philly….
