As mentioned in the Update from the Hockey World for today, Andrew Cogliano addressed media about his reaction to the trade. Now that I’m home and can actually absorb all this info a bit better, here is a bit more of an update, complete with reactions from vets Ethan Moreau and Steve Staios, former roomie Tom Gilbert, and more from Cogliano. I'm not sure 3 was enough to hold him back.

I'm not sure 3 was enough to hold him back.

Well this sucks. According to this Sportsnet article, looks like one of my favorite players is about to hang them up for good.

Jason Smith was my favorite player for a long long time, and the only player whose name/number I have on the back of a jersey. He was exactly what a captain should be, was a tough player and would stick up for any teammate at any time.

Good on the Sens to give him a position elsewhere. He can teach a lot of people about hard work and class.
