Good to hear, Scarriere We could use some regulars around here. And I hear you about the Oilers message board. Things can get a little crazy over there at times. I started posting over on HFBoards a bit too, recently, and it’s just as crazy, just on a different level.

Right on Dude!
I was getting tired of the bashing on another site and it’s great to see a fairly positive take on things.
I am excited for the coming season and won’t be a stranger to this site.

The way I saw it was that Hemsky is getting a stat line of 30-60-90. At least. Sure some D are going to get some of those goals, but I guess I was thinking more of how many goals would be scored when they were on the ice.

Steve-O: I agree chucker, it is very optimistic.But I am assuming that the kids make the next step and are sheltered from tough checking.That happens and I think we may be pleasantly surprised.

People say Quinn doesn't line match at all. He'll just roll out whomever's turn it is, by the sounds of things. But I think if we have a healthy line up, we could see some pretty decent secondary scoring from this team. But that is way crazy expectations for goal scoring though. 100 goals for our top line? Thats averaging 33 a piece. And our second line at over 20 each. Our second line might have a better chance than the top line though of reach your goal, if it is Cogliano Gagner Penner. If Gagner can keep up with how he ended his season, wow look out. But myself I'd say O'Sully will likely struggle on that top line LW for a bit, getting used to things. So I don't expect more than 20-25 out of him, even if he plays the top line. Look for some good goal scoring across the board this year though, rather than just 2 guys at the top.

I’ve got a write up coming up one o’ these days where I say my take on things. But I think if line 2 receives the pleasure of Dustin Penner on it, that line could light it up. It really just needs some size, and well, Penner’s got it in abundance. Of course he doesn’t use it frequently enough, but we could see a brand new Penner next year. We shall see.
